Collective care: the secret behind the best club nights
The most special parties and club nights are often the ones where it feels like everyone in the room has each other’s back.
In the fourth and final episode of What I’d Build, our series with ARNII on the club he’d create with no real-world limits, he makes the case for collective care. The best clubs are intentional about creating a safer space. When the tone is set from the outset, the crowd is encouraged to look out for each other.
In part one, it was all about the infrastructure of the space, while part two discussed the team working tirelessly behind the scenes to create the full experience. Then, in part three, ARNII tackled music curation and the different approaches promoters can take to programming.
Part four is the most important of all: how to build a warm, inclusive dancefloor where people feel welcome, safe and free to let go.
