This is your sign to adopt a stranger at your next festival

Making friends on the dancefloor is one of the best things about festivals. Titanium Dice has one story that makes the point better than any other. 

Have you ever taken someone under your wing at a festival? Maybe they were on their own, or going through something, or you just immediately knew you were kindred spirits. 

We were so moved by the story just like this that emerged from this year’s Boomtown, where Adam James, who was attending for the first time and on his own, was befriended by a group of friends from Bristol who invited him to camp with them. Adam’s experience went viral, and he’s since been offered a set at the UK festival next year. 

Inspired by Adam’s story, content creator and rave history nerd Titanium Dice regales us with her own tale in today’s video: a chance meeting at the renegade stages with someone new to the scene, a secret he was scared to share, and a night that ended with him finding a sense of pure belonging.
