There’s no such thing as a bad dancer

Have you ever felt self-conscious on the dancefloor? Creator and self-confessed dance music history nerd Titanium Dice reminds us why that should never be the case. 

At Happy Tuesdays we’re not into a stiff dancefloor. You know when you look around you and no one’s really dancing, just shuffling and maybe even being a bit chin-strokey? You know the type. 

If people around you in the club are truly letting loose, letting their body groove, and having fun with it, the energy is infectious. And often those dancers have cracked the code: they do not care what they look like. 

Titanium Dice is a content creator and rave history buff who’s here to remind us that dancing isn’t about how you look, it’s about how you feel. 

In her first piece with Happy Tuesdays, Tess sets out her argument by reminding us of the sheer scale of the universe. Shrink it down to the size of Earth, she says, and our entire solar system would be smaller than a single atom. And then somewhere in that atom-sized speck is you, worried about how your dancing looks to a stranger. Is it worth it? Hell no. 

Life is for living and life is for dancing, so get out there and take Tess’s advice with you next time you’re going to the club.
